Future of the Helping field
The Mental Health and Wellness field is facing a tremendous worker shortage - especially in getting the best and brightest to enter the field
We are helping to shape the future of the mental health profession by:
- Offering scholarships for the best and brightest that may not be able to afford tuition otherwise
- Working with University Master's programs to enrich their curriculum
- Working with Undergraduate and High Schools to give students an opportunity for earlier internships
- Presenting at career fairs for undergraduate students entertaining a career in the helping field
WORKSHOPS AND Support groups
GROW YOUR PATH: SUPPORTING TEENS, PROVIDING HOPE
Grow Your Path is a free, confidential counseling program designed specifically for Naperville teens who may be at risk for substance use or facing other mental health challenges. Hosted by the Grow Wellness Foundation and supported by a grant from the City of Naperville, this group offers teens a safe, welcoming space to connect, heal, and grow—at absolutely no cost to students or families. Our mission is to expand access to mental health care for underserved teens through early intervention, prevention evaluations, and education.
When: Mondays, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM (Weekly)
Where: 5th Avenue Station, Downtown Naperville
What to Expect
- A supportive, confidential environment for open discussions
- Trust-building and guidance toward healthier choices
- Personalized action plans for individual success
- Insight and support from licensed, experienced counselors
Who Should Attend?
- Teens facing mental health, substance use, or personal challenges
- Teens in need of a safe, judgment-free space for conversation and growth
